A pilgrim (lat. peregrinus) is one who undertakes a pilgrimage, literally 'far afield'. This is traditionally a visit to a place of some religious or historic significance; often a considerable distance is traveled. Examples include Muslim, Christian, Jew, or visiting Jerusalem.
I'm not sure that I'm working towards visiting something religiously significant or even historic for that matter, but I am definitely working towards something in life. when I figure out what (or where) that is I'll let you know. Until then I'll be blogging about my adventures along the way!
